Vanessa Chester plays Letitia “Griff” Griffiths in Welcome to Sanditon.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Vanessa started acting at the tender age of three when her mother Karen noticed that her little girl liked being the center of attention a lot more than the average child. After having some beginners luck in New York, Vanessa and her family moved to California for pilot season to test her skills on the West Coast. The move turned out to be a life changing event.
Vanessa’s success continued as she booked numerous commercials and pilots, leading up to her big break as Becky in “A Little Princess”. In the following years, Vanessa would co-star in “Harriet the Spy”, “Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World”, “Veronica Mars”, “17 Again”, “How I Met Your Mother” and is thrilled to add “Welcome to Sanditon” to her list of credits.
Vanessa’s love for acting is only be rivaled by her love for learning! Claiming that one of her most prized accomplishments is graduating from the University of Southern California with a B.S in Economics. When she’s off the set you can find Vanessa hanging out with friends, practicing yoga, shopping for vintage items, or checking out some college football. Go Trojans!
