Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Joel has called LA home since graduating from Pepperdine University with a BA in Theatre. Having started stand-up at the age of 17, he’s been blessed to perform in many venues including The Comedy Store, Flappers, The Improv, a national tour, college and corporate shows and, trained in improv at The Groundlings, he formed the award-winning comedy duo “Deven & Joel” with his wife Deven Green. Together they have performed all over the US and Canada, for the troops in the Middle East, and headlined numerous charity fund-raisers, prisons (!) and corporate events.

He dedicates every performance to Deven, his partner in comedy, love and life.
